Our History
Vandalia Health Network was established in 2018 with the formation of its Accountable Care Organization (ACO), creating opportunities for hospitals, primary care providers, specialists, and rural healthcare organizations to participate in the Medicare Shared Savings Program. That same year, VHN launched its Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) to support value-based contracting arrangements focused on achieving measurable quality outcomes.
Together, these initiatives created a framework for providers to collaborate more effectively, share best practices, and advance a common commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the region.
